First-ever smartphone application for crane operators has made its arrival and it is now available for both iOS and Android platforms. The crane giant Terex has introduced the innovative mobile phone application this week with an objective to provide the crane operators and crane companies with all the important information. The mobile application is designed to deliver hardware and safety information, which is probably not possible to provide in printed form. The mobile phone application is claimed to be useful in providing unprecedented access to the information at operators’ finger-touch 24 hrs a day, and 7 days a week.
“Using the Cranes Expert App, customers can now see the full Terex story for themselves,” says Sven Ebinger, Director of Global Communication and Brand Management for Terex Cranes. He adds “Our app goes well beyond the printed piece of literature. In one user-friendly program, customers now have access to our entire media library.”
The application has been designed to integrate the marketing information for all the available crane models into one convenient system. The application will get updates automatically, if Terex brings any new information. The application developer has placed a “Push” notification system that will automatically provide the operators with alert massage when any update is made. On the other hand, Terex’s digital application will also be helpful in getting updates on the crane warning systems.
As a part of Terex’s marketing strategy, the manufacturer continues to flourish in the market by introducing useful tools and mechanisms in order to help the crane operators to get acquainted with the machines without any problem.
