PAT Hirschmann Crane Parts Brief Description
Hirschmann DS 160
- No re-calibration
- Displays actual and allowable load, boom length, boom angle, and load radius
- Uses existing boom components
- Integrated bar graph provides a quick reference ofthe cranes utilization
- User-friendly console and setup
- Meets SAE and ANSI B-30.5 standards
Hirschmann Maestro
- Existing information and tested functions are simply taken over into the new system and standards applying at the time are simply retained.
- There is no loss of data and no need for time-consuming and expensive re-programming and re-adjustment of the crane.
- The sensors can be re-set directly through the console, dispensing with the need to use any special equipment.
- The wiring and the length/angle sensor from the old equipment, as well as the A2B (anti-two block) switching can usually simply be re-used
Hirschmann Mark 4E2
Quick, Easy Calibration – Exclusive AccuCalTM calibration software allows calibration through the operator’s console by your local dealer. No additional device or personnel is needed. The program utilizes a pass code that prohibits access to unauthorized personnel.
Measures True Load Moment – By measuring the true load moment, the PRS 145 senses boom dynamics, load swingout, wind loading, shock load and the effects of boom deflection. Pressure transducers in the lift cylinders of telescopic boom cranes are used to measure load moment.
Digital LCD Display – Large characters and a super-twisted LCD—backlit for night operation—gives operators a clear and easy view from all angles. Integrated Light bar The integration lightbar provides a quick reference of crane utilization
Anti-Two-Block – A special hoist limit switch sounds an alarm and flashes a visual warning of an impending two-block condition. Function Control Lever Lockout When the LMI System senses an overload or an impending two-block condition, the PRS 145 provides a relay output which can be used to engage an optional lever lockout system to override hoist “up” telescope and “out” and boom “down” functions.
Self-Diagnostics – Continuously monitors system and sensors. Error codes are displayed to help identify problems and minimize downtime.
Hirschmann PRS 40 EZ
The Hirschmann PRS 40 incorporates field proven wireless and hardwired sensor technology. The anti-two block (A2B) switch is currently used industry-wide on thousands of mobile cranes. All electronics are sealed and potted, which make for a rugged and durable switch. The load is measured to an accuracy of + 1% in both wireless and hardwired applications. In wireless applications a 15K or 45K load cell is used which can be easily installed on a headache ball or in the dead end of the boom. In hardwired applications the Hirschmann PRS40 incorporates a linerider. Hirschmann‘s angle sensors are compact and durable in design. The cranes boom angle is measured to an accuracy of +/- 1°. Hirschmann‘s three cup wind speed sensor, is designed for operation in adverse environments. The quick pivot pedestal mount allows for quick and easy installation in fixed or mobile applications.
Hirschmann PRS 80 EZ
The PRS 80 EZ’s flexible design allows for monitoring single or multiple sensor inputs. The sensor inputs are displayed on a large back-lite graphic display which is capable of displaying up to seven sensors at one time. The PRS 80 EZ utilizes Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum Technology (FHSS) which transmits on one of the 25 different channels to ensure accurate and consistent reception of data. FHSS also provides additional protection against interference common to construction job sites.
Hirschmann PRS 145
The PRS 145 displays a full range of precise information in the operator’s cab. Designed for use on mobile cranes, the PRS 145 is installed and calibrated to the load chart of each crane – including specific load and geometric limits on boom length, angle, and operating radius. The PRS 145 load moment indicator gives the operator the information necessary to fully utilize the cranes capacity while keeping within the working limits of the crane.
Hirschmann Wireless Sensors
All Hirschmann wireless sensors utilize the same transmitter, allowing for easier maintenance and operation on the jobsite. Hirschmann wireless sensors are fully compatible with existing PAT or Hirschmann sensors and fit a variety of cranes
