Liebherr’s latest 160-tonne mobile crane LTM 1160-5.2 is ready to appear before the people at the gala occasion of Intermat 2015 in Paris, which is scheduled to take place on 20-15 April 2015. Being successor to the LTM 1160-5.1, the crane system includes so many impressive technical attributes that can make the job at heavy industries easier and more convenient.
With some new advancement, the crane system has been armed with more teeth to deal with heavy loads. Increment in load capacity by approximately 25% in comparison with that of its predecessor LMT 1160-5.1 has turned the crane system more capable and efficient to lift the load, whereas the telescopic boom has not been extended beyond its existing length, keeping its length of 62m. On the other hand, the automobile width has been concentrated to 2.75m, which are previously 3 m wide.
The reduced vehicle width and better lifting capacity with no increment in boom length do directly indicate that the new crane system is more convenient to drive on public roads and also on construction sites.
In addition to its technical upgradation, the framework of the latest Liebherr LTM 1160-5.2 has been armed with the machine in the crane structure applying a power-driven shaft. The technical upgradation in the latest 5-axle mobile crane system has brought innovative and high-end features to the system. On the other hand, when it comes to Liebherr crane repair, the latest one has abridged the possibility of any feasible technical errors.
The 62m long telescopic boom on the new crane system is ideally efficient to raise heights of upto 99m and outreach of upto 78m. This time, the manufacturer has provided an optional hydraulic adjustment provision for the folding jib, which makes the crane more efficient to deal with the loads at workplaces.
And when it comes to engine powers, the latest Liebherr crane system that builds up approximately 400 kW / 544 h.p. and rotation of upto 2,516 Nm will certainly be an all-round performer.
