With the exceptional accomplishment of the last World Crane & Transport Summit held in Amsterdam, the latest edition of the same has been kicked off in Miami, Florida, USA with an objective to share ideas and discuss over the best practices to ensure utmost safety and security within the industry. With a continual support from leading crane associations such as SC&RA, Sindipesa, ESTA, and CICA, the two-day gala event has managed to allured more than 250 participants, including major crane operators from the across the globe.
The first sitting of this summit will be discussing over the technology used to ascertain safety and security while operating the crane system. Moreover, the experienced and expert crane operators will find a golden opportunity to meet the industry peers and discuss the vital practices like crane warning systems that can advance their operation. Continuing the gala meets with safety concerns, Captain Brent Wise, Tech Safety Lines co-founder, will be talking of the training and fall protection tools, which a crane operator needs to educate their professionals. And on the evening of 12th November, the participants will attend a gala dinner scheduled to take place in Biltmore Hotel.
Apart from safety and technology concerns, the discussion over operator certification procedure is also scheduled to happen in the second session, as Graham Brent, executive director; National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators shall throw light over the approaches towards safety, training and the operations executed by crane operators in the US.
