Manitowoc—an American global company specializing in products construction industries—has recently launched two new five-axle Grove all terrain cranes, including GMK5180-1 and GMK5200-1. These cranes are an addition to the company’s existing product line, including GMK5250L. Incorporating several remarkable features, these giant machines explicit true engineering. Similar to GMK5250L, these two cranes are integrated with a turbo retarder that eliminates fluid overheating and clutch burning and enables wear-free starting and braking and help reduces fuel consumption. Further, these two engineering pieces are available with a single engine, a Tier IV Final/Euromot 4 Mercedes-Benz OM471LA six-cylinder diesel engine, driving the carrier and powering the superstructure.

Both the cranes have 64m long main boom, which can be extended with 8m inserts and 18m swing-away jib with 40º offset.

All three cranes, GMK5250L, GMK5180-1 and GMK5200-1, come with a variety of axle loading configuration. They all can be moved on the job site with full counterweight, which helps save downtime on installing or removing sections. Further, counterweight slabs are interchangeable with other Grove models.

These models are integrated with the Crane Control System, which ensures efficient handling of the machines.
