International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition, (ICCUEE) has successfully concluded at Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville on October 1, 2015. The event is also known as the Demo Expo and is renowned as the largest event for the utility industry. It provides professionals of industry a platform where they can gain insights into the latest technologies, innovations and trends prevailing in the industry.
This year, the event was held in Louisville, USA, from September 29 to October 1. Initially, the function did not get enough footfalls; but in last days, it set a show record as the largest ever. This year more than 18,000 registered attendees came from all 50 states, nine of the 10 Canadian provinces and more than 60 other countries worldwide, which is 13 percent higher than that of last year’s attendance, according to show owner and producer AEM. The show witnessed more than 950 exhibitors, including more than 250 companies new entries. It served as a platform for many renowned companies to showcase their technology-advanced cranes and other machines.
Here are highlights of the event.
- Grove—a Manitowoc brand– showcased the new GHC75 and GHC55.
- National Crane—a Manitowoc brand company—unveiled the new 680H-TM and NBT30H-2 cranes, which are known for their road-friendly designs and efficient setup and operation.
- Tadano Mantis displayed its telescopic crawlers, including the GTC 1200 and the GTC 6010.
- Altec introduced more than 45 machines, including its AC40-152S truck mounted crane featuring an aerial and crane mode of operation.
- Elliott brought up the curtain on its new track vehicle–mounted boom truck, the 34142, that features a 34-ton capacity and a 142-feet main boom.
- Terex brought out its Terex Crossover 8000, its 80-ton capacity boom truck that integrates truck crane and boom truck designs.
“This is our most comprehensive ICUEE ever, and there has been tremendous enthusiasm and interaction among attendees and exhibitors from Day One, when the official Kentucky Derby bugler opened the show,” said Show Director Sara Truesdale Mooney.
“Attendees are finding more companies, product innovations and product demos – plus quality networking with industry experts and peers that really increases the value of the show,” said Mooney.
