Amsterdam—the capital city of the Kingdom of the Netherlands—is going to host the fifth World Crane and Transport Summit (WCTS) this year in November. The summit is scheduled to be held on November 4 and November 5, 2015, at NH Amsterdam Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, which is situated in the heart of the city. It will be a two-day conference, including a gala dinner on the evening of the first day.
Amsterdam has already hosted the first three conferences except the fourth one, which was held in Miami, US, in November 2014. After tasting success in Miami, the summit’s organizers are believed to draw attention of more than 260 delegates globally, including many of the largest crane manufacturers and transport equipment companies.
Organized by KHL Group and its magazines, International Cranes and Specialist Transport and American Cranes & Transport, WCTS is supported and sponsored by leading crane and transport associations around the world. In previous years, the event was supported by The European Association of Abnormal Road Transport and Mobile Cranes (ESTA), The Crane Industry Council of Australia, ASSOCIPESA, and Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association, Sindipesa, along with many of their members.
The summit has successfully established itself as a platform where crane users, buyers, manufacturers, and distributors meet and share their opinions about changes and new trends in the world of crane and specialized transport industry.
This year, Mr. Jan Kleijn, Mammoet CEO, would keynote the attendees. Other few noteworthy speakers at the event include Mr. Frank Bardonaro (President, Maxim Crane Company); Mr. David Collett (Managing Director, Collett & Sons Ltd and President, ESTA); and Mr. Marco van Daal (Owner, The Works International).
You can get a crane and its parts as well as accessories including Hirschmann crane parts from suppliers based in the United States.
