Crane Inspection & Certification Bureau (CICB) that is in association with Parker Rigging Company has launched a range of new National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCO) programs. These programs are meant for riggers, lift directors, and crane operators in Charleston, South Carolina.

With these tests, the CICB successfully establishes its fourth location in the Midwest and the Southeast along with an array of on-site cranes (for carrying out practical examinations). These specific programs can be undertaken by crane operators or riggers—regardless of their experience. (It is expected that more and more experienced operators and riggers will undergo these training programs for getting national certifications.)

These new certification programs come in the wake of specific requirements set by OSHA for lift directors. As per many analysts, Craig Epperson, the CEO of CICB, has taken this strategic step in expanding the bureau’s footprint across the United States. These training sessions and examinations can be undertaken by not only individuals but also company representatives. Up till now, the bureau’s accredited practical examiners have successfully administered more than 10,000 practical examinations related to mobile cranes.

So, now, we can expect many crane operators and lift directors to be more qualified when it comes to crane operations. If you have liked this specific piece of news, we would request you to share it.
